Originally carrying the DRS compass livery, the locomotive was soon put to work on a variety of the companies trains. 66421 was refreshed with the new simplified DRS livery during 2015 and ran unnamed until 2018 when it featured at the DRS Crewe Gresty Bridge TMD open day where it was named after the depot.
