It is about her life in the Ozark Mountain farm of her and Almonzo in southern Missouri. There they had an apple orchard, which Almonzo managed, and Laura was busy as both a "farm wife" and an author of articles for local publications. This book takes you back in time to an era where life was simpler. It is a very good read.
